In-House Special Lectures (2019):
The Department decided to organize inter-disciplinary lectures by the faculty members of the department and other departments across disciplines, and have a YouTube Channel of the Department for archiving its lectures and programmes in 2019. The first lecture was by Dr. Saunak Samajdar, Associate Professor of English, on “Ghost Stories”. The session was chaired by Prof. Jayita Sengupta, Head, Dept. Of English and attended by students and faculty members across disciplines. The Poster was designed by Shri Shaktipada Kumar, Assistant Professor of English. He has also videographed the session for the Department’s YouTube Channel.
