This is to notify that the admission process for the session 2017-18 of various programmes and streams as detailed below will begin on 23/06/2017. Applicants with the requisite eligibility as stipulated in the prospectus and other relevant notifications may seek admission in the modes detailed below:

Out of total seats, 40 per cent seats will be reserved for the students belonging to colleges located in Cooch Behar district and Alipurduar district; and 20 percent seats will be reserved for the students belonging to all colleges under the University of North Bengal; and remaining 40 per cent will be for open category where all the students of all the universities including students of University of North Bengal will be eligible. The mode of selection for open category will be notified in due course.
The application forms for admission will be available in on-line mode in the university website at www.cbpbu.ac.in. The forms can be submitted on-line on payment of Rs. 500 (for GEN category) and Rs. 320/- (for SC/ST/OBC category).

* Physical attendance for verification of testimonials on stipulated dates (after making payment) is mandatory otherwise his/ her candidature will be cancelled.
** The Candidate himself/ herself must be present during physical verification.
*** The Candidate has to submit cancellation certificate at the time of physical verification, if he/ she was already admitted in another University/Institute.
